I'm a bit behind in updating my blog with recent work, but it's never too late to share.
Here's some of my favorite portraits of Ruth that we took during the summer. Chicago may be cold and dreary for almost half the year, but during that other half, the light is amazing and has this delicate quality to it. If you wield the light well, you can come away with truly unique images. Photography in the Midwest is so different than the light on the west coast and southwest, but with it comes new opportunities to refine and grow as an artist. Best of all, good light helps capture portraits that are natural, flattering, and effortless - things that I aim to provide to all of my clients regardless of the weather. It is always my goal to help you look your best through candid portraiture.
