2017 was a busy year on Instagram, and for social media in general. We probably took more photos last year as a collective human race than ever before in history. The app itself also changed in huge ways, from the introduction of the "story" feature, to being able to save posts that we can look back on, to even being able to post multiple photos simultaneously. It was a lot to keep up with.
There were also many memorable and significant moments in my life as well. I graduated from college (Go Bruins!), moved to a new city, and studied abroad. Instagram has not only been a nice way to share all of that with friends and family, but it has also introduced me to people with similar hobbies or interests through the use of hashtags and the "explore" feature. We are so interconnected these days.
