The Riparian Preserve was one of the first places I went to practice taking portraits. This was way back in 2012, when my lovely friend Katie needed some senior portraits.
A few years later, my family and I went back to this beautiful place again to take a walk and spend some time away from our electronic devices (I'm sure we could all use one of those every once in a while!). I loved how all the trees and desert plants looked in the light of the afternoon sun. And better yet, I'm proud of how my iPhone was able to capture all that we saw on our walk, albeit differently than my Canon would have. But the best camera is the one you have on you, so these must be the 'best' shots ever!
