I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow
I got to spend Christmas weekend this year with my family at White Mountain. It was such a blessing to be able to spend time together and enjoy the abundance of snow. This year the snow was much more generous and it actually snowed the entire day we were at the ski resort! The temperatures were consistently in the single digits up on the slopes, but luckily it made skiing down the mountain safer, and being with those you love that much better.
Here are some of my favorite moments and views from the trip.
It's been a while since I've seen these types of heaters. Back when we used to live in Massachusetts these were commonplace in every home, but here in Arizona all we need are sweatshirts to brave the cold. Seeing these brought back memories of colder climates and places my family used to live.
Enjoying breakfast with a nice view of hanging ornaments and snow outside.
I went on a nature walk and came across these barns - how picturesque and quaint! Brings to mind a simpler way of life, away from the hustle and bustle of life.
The second day at the slopes my brother, Joey, and I had a little photo shoot. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to capture how deep the snow was.
What a way to end 2015! Till next time!
