As an artist myself I appreciated how welcoming and flexible the rehearsal environment was. Even though I'm not a thespian, I was quite inspired by the collaborative atmosphere. I appreciated how the playwrights and director were not only there to instruct or coach, but also valued the students' ideas and input as well. Thank you for having me, Two Cities Project, UCLA School of Theater, and everyone back and front stage who worked to put on this rehearsal. Much luck to you all, and Go Bruins!

The Two Cities Project
I had the privilege of photographing a rehearsal for the Two Cities Project this past spring. Student actors in the UCLA Theater Undergraduate Program collaborated with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in an exciting new piece focusing on the concept of migration. Playwrights Alice Tuan and Bola Agbaje were present at the rehearsal, along with director Thomas O'Connor, an associate professor at the UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television. It was fun to see them working so hands-on with the students.
