Jerome's parents got a dog from the shelter a little while after Jerome left for college due to the empty nest syndrome hitting them full force. Sometimes they even call the dog "Jerome". Haha, we joke that that's when you know you've been replaced.
Jerome also happens to also be a photographer so we decided to put two and two together and have a photo outing with his adorable dog, Buffin, at a local park near his house.
I have to say, cute dog + the chance to snap some photos was a pretty legit opportunity.
Buffin was quite 'camera shy', as Jerome put it, so I'll have to admit, I only kept about 30-40% of the photos I took of him. But hey, I think that's part of the fun - trying to capture Buffin's fun spirit and his relationship with Jerome in the best light possible, without getting his rear quarters in every shot. I think I only got his back in a couple photos, give or take. :)
