My Senior Portraits

Hi all, it's been a while since I've blogged... and I regrettably must admit it was because I had a severe case of senioritis. It's a terrible disease, and the only cure I know for it is, well, taking in a big breath, and telling yourself that you can't just let life pass by with you sitting on the sideline idly waiting for it to pass. Because that was me for the past few weeks. And that wasn't too fun.

Anyways! Onto the fun stuff =)

My photographer friend Joanna took some portraits of me earlier this year, and I'd like to share some of my favorites with you. Thanks, Joanna, for making me look fabulous! I hope to return the favor for you when you're a senior suffering a bout of senioritis!

Our main concept for this shoot was a background of newspaper taped to the closet, and two of my beloved instruments.

Another element in this shoot was vintage! Even though that's not exactly how I'd describe my style, I think it made for some interesting shots.

We took this in my backyard. I love the colors and the light!

I love the modern feel of this one:

I'll be posting some more senior portraits next week! Have a blessed Friday.
